The foundation
Compiling internal interviews, collecting existing documentation and creating personas helped in creating the overall flow. My mission was to structure the overall project and focus on users and navigation.
Research was conducted to compare logistical and user management applications with existing tools like Excel and Google Sheets. For the past decade, users have relied on Excel to manage their projects, so shifting this ingrained mindset posed a significant challenge. However, developing and showcasing prototypes played a crucial role in educating users and guiding them through the transition to a custom-built system designed specifically for their needs."
This version tightens the language a bit, improves clarity, and adds a smoother flow between ideas. Let me know if you'd like further adjustments!
User Experience
Wireframing
Once we had a structure in place, we moved onto wireframes where we explored how each screen would be laid out. This allowed us to quickly sketch out different user flows without having to spend too much time thinking about visual design of those screens.
User Interface
UI Design
The main goal of the application’s user interface design was to create a visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly experience that aligns with the brand identity and helps users easily access the content and services the business offers. The design will focus on improving usability, enhancing user engagement, and ensuring a seamless browsing experience across all devices.
